Geography 353: Cartography and Visualization
This project for Geography 353 at Ohio Wesleyan University is the creation of maps showing the population in Ohio over the Twentieth Century. With data collected from the U.S. Census Bureau, I am creating different types maps using ArcGIS that show population totals at ten-year intervals and percent changes between each of those intervals. The population is divided up by Ohio’s 88 counties in these maps—they either show each county’s total population or the percent change in each county’s population.
